There are 2 columns C and D that have values. I want to filter so that only the rows that have either value greater than 0 show.

I know I can do it with a helper column, is there a way using advanced filter ?

Enter your advanced filter criteria on different rows, one below the other, for each column. Make sure you include all rows when setting the criteria range.

This should find rows where any of the criteria can be true, I think this is you what you want.
