Hi all,
I'm very new to Access. Desperately needing help!

My data:

Table 1
Vessel | Date | Supplier | Inbound Qty
Vessel A | 1/1/2012 | Supplier A | 2000
Vessel A | 1/1/2012 | Supplier B | 2500
Vessel A | 5/3/2012 | Supplier A | 3000

Table 2
Vessel | Date | Outbound Qty
Vessel A | 1/1/2012 | 4500
Vessel A | 5/3/2012 | 3000

How I want the query to look:
Vessel | Date | Supplier| Inbound Qty | Supplier | Inbound Qty | Outbound Qty
Vessel A | 1/1/2012 | Supplier A | 2000 | Supplier B | 2500 | 4500
Vessel A | 5/3/2012 | Supplier A | 3000 | Supplier A | 3000 3000

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Create a new query and add both tables, create a join on field vessel. Add the fields you need and run the query - you may need to group the query
