I have splitform (ala students template) with all certificate data and i have one field let say printn where i want to put some number in first filtered record. Let say 3.
What i need is that access put in all other filtered results n+1. And then user can do that on another filtered result on button click). It doesnt have to be button. It can be afterupdate, but button on headers sound better.

Problem is that i dont know what number will be requred.

Is that posible?

I have query with informations about students for printing certificate and i plan to present it to user in splitform. In certificate i have - 20170/01-58-01/12-01 where 01 became 02 and so on in every new certificate and value must stay same once printed.
That change every year.

So, user filter splitform to let say exam date for latest exam and also a grades and on demand it autonumber (n+1) that filtered result (save that values).

Also, i would like to save it to another table once all data is correct because once given certificate need to be same for all time and somehow i think that is best way.

Feel free to suggest if i am on wrong track for do that.

To make it simple - i would like for user to enter number in first record, and then to automaticaly add n+1 to all other filtered records.
I attached an image of splitform - running sum is field when in first record user add number.

Is that possible?
