I am running into a problem. When I go to edit the Macros for my spread-sheet, I can select the macro to edit from my list Tools->Macros->Macros. But if I select any of the macros for the workbook I am using the "Edit" button is grayed out and I cannot access the macro code. If I go to run the macro from my button in the workbook, I get the message: The macro "MyWorkbook.xls'!MyMacro' cannot be found.

Is there any way to force Excel to let me into the code? I think I can fix this If I can just edit the macro but Excel won't let me look at it.

Don't work. Any other ideas?

Are you sure the workbook name is correct?

If the button is of the form variety, right-click on it and reassign the procedure to it.

Hey Nate

I actually managed to get into the code using the Step Into button, I had to fiddle with it for a while, but it is working now. I still have no Idea what happened. I tried the one you suggested but I couldn't track it to the correct macro, it was like all my code vanished.
