I have seen alot of questions about making a calendar program that looks like Outlook. I am working on one that looks like Works calendar. The difference is the lay out of the days. When you use the week view in Outlook the days are side by side. Works shows them one on top of the other vertically. I need to figure out how to do this and make the days expand or collapse depending on the number of appointments scheduled that day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the db almost done except for this layout thing. Subforms just don't seem to act right for me or I'm not telling them the right thing to do which is probably the case. Thanks for any and all help anyone might have.

When developing software the deal with calendars, it is common to puchase a custom control designed to handle the canendar layout issues. There is not a control in Access that will do the same. You have to creat it yourself. Since Access is a database and report writer. Great for printing records of data, but not very good for printing calendars.

Getting a calendar to display on the screen in the format you want wil not be easy unless you can create custom controls or purchase one.

OK where do I get the custom control creator?
