Sorry, I'm a newbie.... What I want to do is create a data entry form (actually a material requisition form) to be used by various departments. The individual forms will update a data sheet used by one user (purchaser) with each new item flagged as new. Access is out due to availability, so I have to do this with Excel.
Any suggestions or samples would be much appreciated....

well this is not such a trivial task for a starter smile.gif.

We would need to know a little bit more, posting a small sample of your database would definitely help.

First of all, there is a Data=>Form feature in Excel, can't you use it for a start? Why do you need a userform? Is it just nice-to-have or do you need some validation of the new record before it's 'saved' ?

Please see here a recent example of how userform is feeded with data from the sheet.
