Novice hat on today (Ed ...when isn't it :-) )


Attached is a simple sheet with a column where users are sending in sheets and the code (in BEFORE) is showing as text or numbers or blank. It needs to be trimmed up, made into text, with a leading zero if the original is only one character. Then Auto fill all the blanks with '01. ...ideally as long as there is something in column 1.

I have 'recorded a macro' that does all bar the last bit...but it seems a bit Heath Robinson. ....is there a neat way (As I will need to do several variations on a theme)
