I want to export my report to an excel-file. Candace Tripp gave me some classes to export a query to excel, but then I have no formatting.

How can I export a report to excel, and keep the formatting?

Unfortunately formatting is lost when an Access report is exported to Excel. You'll have to Export the report as snp f or pdf file.

but can't I use pivottabels to export the data to excel? Because then (at least they told me) the format is kept.
