Hi,
I'm trying to set up a form which will only allow 4 records to be entered for each linked record.
To give some background:
I am trying to set up a database that will accept entries and be used for scoring a sporting event. It is a team event with each team consisting of 3 or 4 members hence the limit of 4 records of individuals linked to the team data.
At the moment the individuals are entered on a subform from the team record
I have searched the forum but cannot find a solution...
I am quite new to Access so any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Check the Record Count of the subform and the set the "Allow Additions" property of the subform to No (False) if the Record Count >= 4 ...

This is along the lines of something that I am trying to accomplish in my database. I am wondering if it is possible to go a step further and have a form show all 5 'spaces' awaiting input. My database is for scheduling riders, with max 5 in a class, but the instructor would like to see all 5 spaces for each class time so that she can easily see when a spot is open.

I've attached a screenshot of how it is now and how I would optimally like it to look (don't ask how it's accomplished in the shot, it's not normalized blush.gif, but once I can find a way to have all timeslots show, I can properly normalize the DB).

Thanks!
