I have a quick question about data formatting. My data are grouped by a unique record ID number (say"01/2005", "02/2005", and so on...) and several features (say "1st category", "2nd category", and so on...). I would like to have the report looking like a list of bullets grouped by the category, as in the example below:
Report n. 01/2005
- first 1st category
- second 1st category
- first 2nd category
- second 2nd category
How can I do that??
Thanks in advance

Firstly Welcome to UA,
Open your report in Design view
Go to the top within the menu bar you will see a sorting and grouping Icon
Place your unigue ID on the first line
You will see at the bottom after doing this a window that will say Group header footer etc.
change Header to yes
place your unique ID control within this header
place your detail controls below in the detail section.

I've just joined and have a related question to this...
I've got the group header and details for each group.
I put a page break in the group footer.
Everything looks great, but I'm having a problem with blank pages.
I don't understand because the report itself, in most cases, is a couple inches. It's the page formatting.
I got so frustrated I went into an entirely different database and was able to duplicate the problem.

Did you check your margins on your print detail? File>page setup>margins
why do you need a page break? Just curious

The margins are fine.
I need a page break because these are form letters.
Each letter is addressed to a customer detailing the charges for each cost center the person is responsible for.
In some cases, a person is responsible for more than one cost center.
I have the customer and cost center in a group header and a page break in a group footer.

I can not see your report or visualize precisely what you are after but have you tried to use the force new page in the format of your header?
Open your report in design view
Go to your Header line in your report
Go To Properties
Go To format
Force New page (look in here)
Also look at the other selections and play around with them
I am sure your are aware you can preview the report without saving to see what occurs when you make a change to the formating. Just for grins take your page break out and have a go with the formating of the header/s. that are based on your grouping/s.
If you want attach a zipped copy of your DB no more than 500000kb no sensitive data and I will be glad to take a look.

Putting a page break in the group footer will cause a blank page after each section including the last one.
Change it to the group header to page break before section. This will fix the problem.
