Any way to preserve report formats when publishing to MS Word? Some reports just don't make sense in .rft formats in MS Word.

Short answer -- no.

Most formatting is lost when you dump into Word. You can send it to Adobe or Snapshot and preserve the formatiing.

I have uncovered a bug in all versions of Access (97 and higher) that can cause the data in a report to be lost or placed randomly in the output when using the Publish to MS Word feature.

I have discussed the bug with the Microsoft Access Team and after a complete explanation and an example showing the problem .... the bug was verified to exist.
This problem (bug) has been turned over to the appropriate group at Microsoft for further investigation.

My workaround to the problem was to open MS Word in code and use Bookmarks to tranfer the data directly to Word without using a report ...
