i've got a form with a subform; when i choose combo and select an employee subform gives all the data related to that employee; this was in mind and designed that way; it works; but when i open the form, subform displays the records of emplyee starting with A (for the first record in employee master) ;

i want records to be displayed on subform only when user select from combo the particular employee; how can i go about it; help appreciated

Sounds like your combo is a search combo. The way I would do this is by making all the controls hidden when opened until an employee is selected from the combo.
