Full Version: Page Setup Getting "Lost"

My users and I are getting frustrated with a labels report continually "losing" its page setup. I have a database that sits on a network accessed by about 8 Users. One of the functions is to print labels to a Dymo printer and I have lost count of the number of times I have reset the page setup for this function. It changes from Specific Printer back to to Default, changes the margins as well as Paper Size. Perhaps I don't understand the concept correctly but I thought if I change the Page Setup once within the design then that format remains in place for everyone. I have even gone from User to User to change the report design on each of their workstations in the faint hope that its a local rather than database setting it but I've done this a few times now and have zero confidence in it being sustained. One thing I have noticed is that the printer is not named consistently on all workstations so maybe this is throwing things out.

Would appreciate advice.

This is a known issue with Access 2000. Turn off the Name AutoCorrect feature - Tools, Options, General tab and un-click "Track Name Autocorrect Info". One of the service packs for A2000 supposedly fixes this but I always turn this option off.

There is a MSKB article describing this:

Thanks John. I'll change this setting and see what happens.
