In the past I have had a query mail merged with a word document and it has worked great. Last week I opened it and it would not do it. I went to try to troubleshoot it and find out what is going on. I have a critiera that lets me type the last 3 numbers of a TA number and it filters it so that is the only record i view in my word document. If I take that out, I can do it. However it is important that I have that. I make individual labels using a dymo labler with this technique. Does any one have any suggestions for me?
If there is an easier way to get my selected information in to a word document that would be great. I was thinking of having a command button on my form for that traveler and it opens up the dymo and paste the information, however it does not put it in the lable how I want it. That is why I did the mail merge with work. Anyways if someone could help me get my mail merge working again that would be great. Thanks Chey |

I'v had that trouble too. I solved it by making the query a Make-Table query and modifying the mail merge to use the table.

How do I do that?
I open new query and use a table? If so, I still have trouble adding the critiera that allows me to type the last 3 of my TA number. Any other suggestions or if I am off, how do I make a table query? Thanks Chey |

I have found that it better to NOT merge with an Access database.
I would urge you to look at this: Super Easy Word Merge. You will need to scroll done to find it. |

When I use the example database it works but when I put it in mine I have a problem when I assign the form name and click okay
this pops up Public Function ShowProgress() ' ' we have a list....start a progress bar. Set = New Form_GuiProgress frmGuiP.Visible = True DoEvents End Function it says that the FrmGui is not defined. I can not find that form. I imported all the other forms. Any suggestions? Thanks Cheyenne |

I keep trying to play with this I am realizing that it is not bringing up the progress bar to save it to the folder. Can someone please assist me. I am also using a different version than what I downloaded.
Thanks. Cheyenne |
