I have a db for scuba diving logs. I can't get a graph of Depth and
Time. I tried using the chart wizard in a report, what a mess it made. I have a query that has three fields, DiveID, DiveTime, Depth. For every dive, there are a few hundred time and depth entries. The entries are based on data from my dive computer every 15 seconds. DiveTime is numeric data ie (15,30,45,60,75,90,105,...) (Want this to be the X-Axis) Depth is also numeric, depth in feet at a particular DiveTime. (Want this to be the Y-Axis) In the wizard, I can set the Y-axis values from 150' - 0'. But the wizard labels the X-axis as "East, South, West, North", and adds a legend breaking the data up into "First,Second,Third, and Fourth Quarters", and plots four data lines that are useless. I'm trying to end up with a graph with a single profile plotted that would start in the upper left, descend as the depth got deeper, travel to the right as the DiveTime increased, and finally swing up to the right as I ascended. Any Ideas???? (IMG:http://www.utteraccess.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/dazed.gif) |

I have written a chapter on using MS Graph, which is shared by Word, Access, PowerPoint, ... -- too big to post. If you email me, I'll send it (remind me what you want) -- if you have questions after that, you can post here
