I'm trying to add to an already complicated query but when doing so I get a message stating...

The String returned by the Builder was too long.
The result will be truncated.

At this I lose half the code I've already added.

Any ideas how I am able to resolve this? The perfect solution would be to be able to extend the allowable string length.

There is a finite number of characters that the Builder can handle. If you post your SQL we may be able to show you ways of shortening it.
