This might come in use, if you are trying to get the network username and NOT the access username.
Dim GetUserN
Dim ObjNetwork
Set ObjNetwork = CreateObject("WScript.Network")
GetUserN = ObjNetwork.Username

Oalways add a
GetUserN = StrConv(GetUserN, vbLowerCase)
just to keep the string all lowercase as sometimes the username will have capitals.
