Hi guys,
New to the forum so not sure if doing this right way! Any hows to paint the picture... Have a simple database (see attached) but not %100 sure I've created the relations correctly between two of the tables. One table is Project and the other is Product. Now a project should be able to have any number of products associated with it. I thought that it need a many to many relationship so created a link table between them....Is this correct. Ultimately i would like to be able to have a form that displays a project with all its associated products in data view below in a sub form. Also the suborner is where I could either add a product to the project or delete one from it! Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, James |

Welcome to UA James!
Your relationships look okay. You can now easily create a form using the new form wizard. Select all the fields from both Project and Product and Access will offer to arrange it in a form/subform layout. |

Hi
Welcome to Utter Access Forums The question I'd ask is: If a project can have many produts can any product be part of many projects if so then I would lean more toward a M:M relations and use a junction table. (IMG:http://www.utteraccess.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) |
