Greetings from a brand-new Access user.
I see Access 2010 provides a “Charitable Contributions” template which seems that it will serve needs well. One concern is that it is a web-based database and I do not understand the security aspect; there is no need for our non-profit's data to be on the web. Does anyone know if there is a way to utilize the template in a non-web-based manner? With thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thanks.gif) |

AOC,
Greetings and Welcome to UtterAccess. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome2UA.gif) Give this link a shot and see if you find something along the lines you're looking for. I used Ctrl+F and "Charity" to find a model. Library of Database Models AvgJoe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hat_tip.gif) |

You can use the database as a local Access accdb. It's just that it's been designed so that you CAN publish it to a SharePoint server if you desire.
