This page is a stub. Please help us by expanding or merging it with applicable content

Software as a Service (SaaS) is software that is hosted and management by a Cloud Provider, and consumed by an individual or entity. This usually takes the form of a software which is accessible through a web browser, to which a monthly/yearly service fee is paid for rights. There's a great many examples of SaaS. To choose one as an example, FogBugz is an online bug tracking software. You pay for the service, the company that owns the software hosts it on their servers, and you just need a web browser to access and use it.
