I was just asked if Access 2016 has the ability to access Active Directory to look up internal email addresses?
Our systems are locked down pretty tight since we work in banking remotely.

Not real sure of the entire purpose of the request so just need high level answer at this time.

Thanks!

Access can certainly grab information from AD.
I've used it with A2010 & A2016 to check user names & passwords match those in AD for logging in.
Not used it for email addresses but I can't see that would be different.

However I haven't used the code for some time & would need to check it if nobody else comes back sooner

Thanks for the link, dbGuy. No time to try it out right now but I sure will soon. I still need to find out exactly what the plan for this is.
