if all columns of the query fits the main access window then it will not show the h.scrollbar.

I'm not familiar with Access 2016 but what happens when you collapse the navigation pane right-to-left?

You posted in Access 2016. So what version of Access are you using?
Post a mock-up. Only 1 record should be necessary.

I SEEMS LIKE... iconfused.gif

if i freeze too many fields (all visible or more )
Horizontal Scrollbar....disappears
...only way BACK, is to unfreeze all fields, to see again Horizontal Scrollbar

if you reopen the query ..... Missing Horizontal Scrollbar

Mock-up?

I was surprised, where are other columns...

My opinion,...NOT THE BEST SOLUTION ... iconfused.gif
If they are not visible columns (after right table edge) ....I NEED ALLWAYS Horizontal Scrollbar lightbulb.gif
