I have a form that has the following fields

Amount1 - Amount2 - Amount3 - Amount4 - Amount5 - Amount6

and a Field called Total

There is a button I placed next to total that when clicked sets the value of total to the sum of the 6 amounts above.

It will stay there for a few clicks, then disapeer.

Can't figure out what is going on. Any suggestions? Thank you!

First of all, thank you so much for the quick reply!

I'm using NZ on them to turn them into numeric zeros, I learned that the hard way frown.gif

I actually figured it out, there was a conflicting lost focus in the vba that would attempt a flawed recalculation of the box where the equation was missing NZ and would null the box out.

(PS: I have heard great things about your expertise and I have a thread in the reports area I would love to have some help with if you could spare a few minutes)
