In Design View characters are displayed as they should be:

but when I start the form suddenly they become distorted.

Why is that happening? Any ideas?

That looks like a windows setup, or access setup problem to do with fonts.

You are getting character changes between design and run.

Could it be that windows has a different language than your access.

The "c" character with the accent, is changing to "ae" and it looks like the J is changing to Li.

Hope that gives you a clue.
