read this post abt ProtectByPassKey.mdb and i like very very much... i want to secure my database against "AllowBypassKey2kTo2k7.mdb" this type of utility. So can you plz give me the code of ProtectByPassKey.mdb

So guys,

This info is all way out of date. I wouldn't resurrect a dead topic.
For example .mdw files don't really exist anymore since Microsoft removed the user level security features.
Your best bet to secure your database remains compiling it to a .accde.
That will protect the code and most of the database objects. Rename it as .accdr to further discourage people.
At the end of the day though, you cannot fully protect it from a determined hacker. We will find a way in.
Take what measures are reasonable to discourage. I personally don't even bother with shift bypass as my code is compiled and if the user is using shift bypass they know they are bypassing intended functionality and I expect my users to behave like professionals.
