I am trying to run a Union query but keep getting a data type mismatch error message
The two queries making up the union query run fine

How can I determine the data type of each field in the queries?
If I know this, then I will know which fields are causing the error

Thanks in advance

Hi Tim. The simplest way is to open the table source in design view and check the data type of the field referred to in the query. Otherwise, are you looking for some code to do it?
