I have a continuous form with contact info. Each record has an image of an envelope that can be clicked to send an email. The problem is that the image can be clicked when a different record is selected. This means that the email goes to the wrong person. How can I make it impossible to click the image without having the record active?

I would move the clickable envelope image to the form's header instead of the detail section so that it appears only once and eliminates the ambiguity.

Using an actual command button solved the problem. So first I switched to a command button, but then I made the button transparent and laid it over my envelope image. It does the trick.
