(lower Alabama) ![]() | Have been reading how bad it is to have the XML file containing the password and location to my Access database back end lying around for snoopers and goofers. Problem is all I am finding is some reference to an ASP server app. My Access DB is on my corporate network and I have built a Windows form using Visual Studio 2017 and VB.net to pull up data from the database back end. *What do I do to encrypt/protect the config file which must be available or the Windows application will throw a database connection error and shut down? Thanks in advance. |
