How can I take the calculated field on a subreport, then add them all together for a grand total placed on the main report? I can get each subreport to have it's own total, but I have hundreds of dates that each has its own subreport. Surely there's a way to aggregate each subreport total together?

If each subreport represents a date then it's likely that your design is flawed.

It's not flawed, and that doesn't even address the question.

Power usage is based on the date, so the date is a perfect primary key for what I'm doing.

It doesn't make any difference if the key is a date or an autonumber. I still need to be able to put a calculated field on a subreport, and then total all of them into a grand total and place the total on the main report.

That's the question, not what the key might be.

I never mentioned keys.

I'm unsubscribing from this thread.
