Hi

with odbc client SQL 2017, i have tested connection, but not found server\istance SQL, what can be the cause?

There's a whole lot of information missing from your post.

1. Are you using Integrated or SQL Server security?
2. Is the SQL Server on your computer or on your network?
3. If you open SSMS, can you see any databases?

In addition to the other questions, can you specify how you created the connection? By " odbc client SQL 2017" I assume you mean the ODBC driver, ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server. Correct?

That appears to be appropriate. So, one last thing to consider. You are doing this through the ODBC Data Source Administrator, apparently.

Which bitness did you use, 32 bit or 64 bit. Perhaps that's part of the problem. Test it out using the other bitness to see if that's the source of the problem.
