Hi All

I use Outlook Automation to transfer data from received e-mails to my Access Database, however as Outlook is no longer available as a standalone product (thank you MS!) I need to consider alternatives (e.g. Thunderbird?) however can I use Automation with Thunderbird to achieve the same thing, and if not, is there any other e-mail app that I could use?

I use Outlook Automation from Access to
1. Create various Outlook folders ,
2. Mark (specific) received e-mails (dependent on subject) as unread in any selected account and transfer these e-mails to the appropriate folder created in 1.
3. read these transferred e-mails, and extract relevant information which is saved to tables within the Access App.
4. mark e-mails successfully transferred as 'read'
5. Create and send e-mails that are not successfully read, to advise sender.

Warm regards
Bernie

MS has made it hard to locate, but it can still be purchased as a standalone product, see: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/p/outlook/c...t%3aoverviewtab
