> Pin Spreadsheet To Start

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

On Windows 7 I had a spreadsheet that I used frequently pinned to the Start menu. Is there a way to pin a spreadsheet to Start in Windows 10?

I'm not sure how to get a specific file on there, but I have my common programs pinned to the taskbar, then right-clicking them there will open a recent file list. I just took a quick look at Excel and there seems to be the option to pin individual files in that list, so maybe that'll be a workaround?

That said, I figured you can't be the first person to ask this, and it looks like there's a few shell commands you can use (and a custom context menu you can set up, though be careful with those):
