Posts: 4,024 Joined: 19-October 10 | Google made Intel was made aware of it in June 2017 (Sorry cannot remember the specifics) but only are actioning things now. The CEO also sold huge numbers of stock in November, he sold 10 times what he normally would and only held onto the minimum stock possible to remain the CEO. Its extremely suspicious as if he was selling all that stock before the news went public so his stock didn't devalue. I think this has all the signs of being festering for a long time and company bigwigs covering it up to save their own money with little concern of plugging the security leak and more concern about keeping it quiet. |

Linux already had a fix out yesterday (maybe earlier). MS apparently have a fix for Win10, the other OS have to wait (this seems to be there new tactic to try and push people towards Win10). I jut hope their fix doesn't break other aspects as been the case with many MS updates recently. Now Apples has officially announced it impacts all of there products - Macs, iP... (because there was a doubt somehow?!). The only true fix would be new CPUs. As if that's going to happen worldwide to all impacted products. In the near future, there's gonna be a lot of sales of new chips.... and a lot of lawsuits as well. Oh, did I mention, security is nothing but an illusion! LOL!    |
