Hello,

I'm using Access 2013 with a T-SQL back end. I have several simple pass through queries that run and give results in a second or two...pretty normal stuff. However, when my users try to sort and filter the data in the Access query window it holds up all of my other SQL processes, viewable in my SQL Activity Monitory window, which in turns freezes my Access application for all of my other users.

Can this be avoided? If so, How?

Thank you,
David92595

Hi David. Which are you trying to avoid? Users to be able to sort or the process killing your app?

Just a guess but maybe you could try to optimize your queries.
