Good afternoon fellow UA'ers!

Working through a DB that was provided by a colleague and testing out the functionality I'm experiencing one minor issue of rather significant importance. When attempting to select an item from a combobox (Access Level), it will not allow me to select any item from the combobox.

the following list property settings for the combobox:

Control Source: Access_Level
Row Source:SELECT qryAccessLevel.Access_Level, qryAccessLevel.Access_Instructions_abr, qryAccessLevel.Sort_Order FROM qryAccessLevel ORDER BY qryAccessLevel.[Sort_Order];
Row Source Type: Table/Query
Bound Column: 1
Limit to List: No
Allow Value List Edits: Yes
Enabled: Yes
Locked: No

within the Event properties:
On Got Focus: [Event Procedure]

CODE
Private Sub Access_Level_GotFocus()
If Forms![Check In/Check Out]![txtLocked] = -1 Then
Me.Access_Level.Locked = False
Else
Me.Access_Level.Locked = True
End If
End Sub
Can someone help express this in laymans terms?

Not quite sure what or how to fix this, but suspicion is pointing me to the Row Source? What else should I be looking at?

as if wildly swinging a sword at lifes problems fixes anything....removing the On Got Focus: [Event Procedure] fixed the issue on the surface with no idea/impact to second and third order effects.... guess we'll find out! haha

Thanks all
