does anyone know how to keep javascript errors and alerts from popping up in access 2007?
I am using the internet explorer object and navigating to a page that fires a popup before the page has finished loading.
I have read about using the newwindow2 and various other ways to keep it from appearing but no luck- i have been searching for a answer that works for about a month now. can anyone please help

conagraman,
pparently, you can use the events NewWindow2, NewWindow3
Obelieve you should set Cancel = True in the NewWindow2 event
But some "pop-ups" are user initiated therefor the NewWindow3 event was created.
In that event you can check if the use initiated the popup and if they did you can set a flag for your NewWindow2 event to prevent the cancel, I believe.
such as: ( in NewWindow2 ) If bUserInitiated False True Then Cancel = True
obviously, you set bUserInitiated in the NewWindow3 event
see--> http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cpp/Extended....aspx#GoalBlock
Good luck, Have fun,
Keith
Opps, I posted this and re-read your question.... You need to prevent messages not pop-up windows ... sry ... I doubt this will help you ...
