Hello all (and just a quick thanks to my peers for my recent accolade, I'm honoured!)
traight off the bat, I don't use Internet Explorer (sticking with Firefox and Chrome). However, I'm building a website using MS Office Live and it demands that I use IE.
I was using IE7 at the Microsoft website (read..no nasties by way of spy/malware because I don't visit anywhere else with IE) and it just closed itself...BAM...gone.
Upon reopening to continue, IE7 can no longer detect an internet connection (obviously I've got one or you wouldn't be reading this!)
Your helpful suggestions welcome

Hi,
I did you try to reset the internet settings through IE? You might also want to upgrade to IE8...this might actually solve your problem by fresh install wink.gif

Thanks for your reply Oli,
All settings OK...in fact it's so broken it won't even open "About Internet Explorer".
Osuppose I'll have to jump to IE8 but it's a pain in the bum when I only use IE just for this one thing!

I hear you...I've given up on IE about 7-8 years ago.
