Hi Everyone

I have the following append query which when I run from the query design window I do not get any standard action warning. It just appends the data??

CODE
INSERT INTO tblDaysPeriod1Aisle1Presses ( DayPeriodOneID, PressID, EmployeeID )
SELECT tblPeriodOneDayPressPlan.DayPeriodOneID, tblPeriodOneDayPressPlan.PressID, tblDayPeriodOneEmployees.EmployeeID
FROM tblPeriodOneDayPressPlan INNER JOIN tblDayPeriodOneEmployees ON tblPeriodOneDayPressPlan.PeriodOneDayPressID = tblDayPeriodOneEmployees.PeriodOneDayPressID;

Any help appreciated

Hope this helps?

Did you check your client settings?

Hi Guy

Why would the Client settings suddenly change like that?

It now works after resetting the Client Settings

Many thanks

Hi Mike. I think it could change if you have code like SetWarnings False and then switch to design mode before closing Access.

Perhaps you/they had a DoCmd.SetWarnings False without a DoCmd.SetWarnings True, or an error arose and the DoCmd.SetWarnings True never ran thus disabling the warnings throughout.
