> Prevent Column Changes In Shared Table?, Access 2007

I have a table that is used by a few individuals. Initially I had built a form for everyone to use but they had problems with it so I just went ahead and let people use the table. Its a somewhat informal database, but I still don't want people messing with the table layout too much. Recently I took a week off and when I came back I found the columns all moved around, and other issues. I have managed to lock down all of the other stuff but wondered if there is a way to prevent columns from being rearranged in the table.

I found the option "Enable design changes for tables in Datasheet view" and I unchecked that. It doesn't prevent dragging of columns though. Am I out of luck on that one? Considering revisiting the form option...

I think you have answered your own question! ohyeah.gif

If you have specific issues with your users and how they interact cia forms, let us know the specifics and someone will try and guide you through.

Also, just to check, you are using a split database?
