UtterAccess Forums _ Access Security _ How To Tell If The Program Is In Use

Posted by: InfoHound Mar 21 2019, 04:15 AM

I'd like to have the current user automatically be logged off if the program is not used for a certain period of time.

Is there anyway in Access to determine if the program is inactive?

Thanks

Here is a Demo that will display Running and Total System Idle Time. If the System is idle for 60 secs. (exaggeration), Access will quit. Hope you can find this useful. Adjust the Value of the CONSTANT IDLEMINUTES in the Form's Timer() Event to set the Interval after which Access will Terminate.

CODE
Const IDLEMINUTES = 1
