I am trying my hand at C# for the first time. I an using it to create an application to install an access database application on a users machine. I have it all working except for the final touch, creating a shortcut on the users desktop. How can I do that in C#?
Thanks for any help that can be provided in this matter. I know someone here can point me in the right direc

A quick googling and I found this: C# desktop shortcut
It also looks like you can use normal windows shell calls to create it, just have to have the correct syntax.

Thanks for the help but I could not get it to work. I am attacking it from a different angle. I am going to include the shortcut in the install directory and copy it to the users desktop rather than trying to create the shortcut from scrathch. I thought like why build the tire onto the car but rather build the tire then put the tire on the car (much simpler process). Somtimes I make things harder than what they need to be. again.
