Hello all,

Coming for help again. Is there a straight-forward way to parse the first 3 words from a string of text that may contain 20 words, all separated by a space? I really need to have this in a column so I can display the first 3 words within Power BI visuals / Filters.

As always, help here is so awesome and much appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

Regards,

Mac

You could split it in PowerQuery on the space and just discard the other columns it generates. (Might get really messy if you have lots of words in there). Then you could discard all of the generated columns except for the ones you need, and then reassemble using a custom function.
