Hi UA,

I hope this is an easy one. When I use format #,### I get the comma but it displays a blank field when the value is 0. See example below for format I would like to see. Thanks

Example:
1,000
0
320
3,256
0
450
0
4,578
42,897
100,000

Glad you found an answer that works for you. And by the way I believe that this would work too: #,##0

This MS reference to the Format() function may be of interest and explains J Paul's answer, specifically the section: User-defined numeric formats:

(0) Digit placeholder. Display a digit or a zero. If the expression has a digit in the position where the 0 appears in the format string, display it; otherwise, display a zero in that position.

(#) Digit placeholder. Display a digit or nothing. If the expression has a digit in the position where the # appears in the format string, display it; otherwise, display nothing in that position. This symbol works like the 0 digit placeholder, except that leading and trailing zeros aren't displayed
