I am not sure how I did this once and cannot repeat it, but in Excel 2019 I was able to set my cell property to "hyperlink" and then drag a file from windows explorer into that cell and it created a hyperlink automatically to that file location. Now I cannot get it to repeat that action to save my life. Now every time I drag something, it just tries to open the file or inserts a picture if its that type of file. Does anyone know a way to drag and drop a file into a cell to hyperlink it?

I'd appreciate any help.

Thank you

I know the basics, which is probably just enough to be dangerous...

I'm not sure how to do it with Windows Explorer, but you definitely can Open the Office File Dialog, select a Single or Multiple Files, and programmatically Insert Hyperlink(s) to these Files in any Worksheet.
