Team,

I have a database table in a pipe "|" delimited file; which I imported into Excel.
One of the column is Rich Text Formatted -- Image 1.
After pressing [F2], Excel converts the cell's formatting -- Image 2.

The Original cells text looks like this:
CODE
{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0{\fonttbl{\f0\fnil\fcharset0 MS Sans Serif;}{\f1\fnil MS Sans Serif;}}
\viewkind4\uc1\pard\lang1033\ul\f0\fs20 DECORATIVE LENS\par
\ulnone\par
Custom cast aluminum lens "baffle" to snap in to low voltage pin spots via die cast metal trim ring.\par
\par
\ul\b SIDEMARK:  Item #LF47006; Additional custom baffles to fit existing light trims.  Total of 20 required.\ulnone\b0\f1\fs16\par
}

After pressing [F2] the cell looks like this:
DECORATIVE LENS

Custom cast aluminum lens "baffle" to snap in to low voltage pin spots via die cast metal trim ring.

SIDEMARK: Item #LF47006; Additional custom baffles to fit existing light trims. Total of 20 required.

I have 350,000 cells to go through.
Any idea how I can do this.

I wrote VBA code to .Select and .Activate the cells, which did not work.
I am trying different Import options which are not working.

Any Ideas?

Respectfully,
John In Annapolis, MD

Any chance you could provide a sample workbook, I'm having a hard time just getting Excel to import the data as you describe.
