Had a look at this and I am afraid I'm a bit lost with registry keys (I don't have the OEM folder). I don't want to deactivate MS Office, I simply want to establish, using VBA, whether the end user of my utility software, has a genuine activated copy of MS Office despite the fact that they say they have by clicking to agree to the Terms and Conditions. If not, then my utility closes automatically.

Is there a file in the MS Office folder that MS uses to establish whether the installation is genuine?
