Hi I am a mediocre Access User. Busy with a Salary Database. I am trying to do a query for PAYE. Formula as follows: PAYE: [SubPAYE]*0.18/[QtyPeriods] which works fine. My problem is that the Threshold for paying PAYE is R80000.00. How do I add to the formula that only amounts > than 0 is applicable. All amounts 0(zero) and smaller must show as 0(Zero).

Try:

PAYE: Iif([SubPAYE]*0.18/[QtyPeriods] < 80000,0, [SubPAYE]*0.18/[QtyPeriods] )

Here's a reference explaining the IIF() Function

Continued success with the project.
