Posts: 5,573 Joined: 2November 04 From: Downey, CA I have a column that contains a formula that calculates whether a manager qualifies for a bonus if they DON'T, then the cell displays "FALSE" obviously, I can't just write an edit/replace macro to replace false with a dash, or nothing, etc the formula is very long: CODE =IF(A:A=1,IF(((B2C2)/B2)>0.329,((B2D2)*0.005)),IF(A:A=5,IF(((B2C2)/B2)>0.329,((B2D2)*0.005)),IF(A:A=4,IF(((B2C2)/B2)>0.349,((B2D2)*0.005)),IF(A:A=3,IF(((B2C2)/B2)>0.349,((B2D2)*0.005)))))) any help would be greatly appreciated.... Posts: 5,573 Joined: 2November 04 From: Downey, CA Debaser, Current row. I didn't write this formula... I asked the same question.....they have this REALLY long IF formula, involving their divisions...and all divisions now use the same formula for counting bonuses.. except division 7 ...so why not use a simple IF construct where the basically have the standard method, ELSE the method for division 7.... I think some Excel guru set up years ago, and they don't know how to fix it This post has been edited by bakersburg9: Aug 3 2019, 04:53 PM
