Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help me. I want to limit the number of charcters in a text box to say 4 characters. So the maximum number of characters a user enters in a text box is 4 and if they try to type a fifth character the textbox doesn't allow it with the cursor remaing after the fourth character.

sorry just sorted it out!!!

Look at the Change event. You could work with the Len to check the length of the content of the field.
