I had a proc where when done (almost), one column was highlighted - I wanted to un-highlight, and move the cursor - so if doing this manually, I would press the ESC key to unhighlight the column - so I'm looking at website after website: Stack, Mr. E. etc etc. everything was about send keys, and warnings not to use send keys...

but I FINALLY found this, after going to a dozen sights, and it came back to me:

CODE
Application.CutCopyMode = False

.... am I missing something here? why isn't this the de facto answer ?

Hi. You're probably referring to an Excel code, which I don't recognize, but your topic title merely says VBA. In Access, I would use the Undo method.
